Dorset Indian Association festival Durga Puja

2017-09-05 - Dorset Indian Association DIADorset India Association (DIA) aims to develop community cohesion by organising cultural programmes performed by many non-faith and faith groups and to engage with the wider community in raising awareness regarding social inclusion, shared traditions, and their health and wellbeing. They liaise, collaborate and engage with other similar voluntary and charity organisations to promote good relationships and to support community cohesion. They organise events and festivals for the advancement of Indian Art and Culture, Heritage and Education.


They are organising their biggest festival Durga Puja from 27-30 September 2017.

You are cordially invited to attend the festival. Venue and time of Durga Puja and contact information are given below.

Wednesday 27th September: Maha Saptami
Thursday 28th September: Maha Astami
Friday 29th September: Maha Nabami
Saturday 30th September: Maha Dashami

We will be having Puja and Arati on all four days.
