Early in 2015, significant European Union funding will become available to boost economic development in Dorset. Some of this is earmarked for tackling barriers to economic inclusion.
We know that some people in Dorset find it difficult to access support to help them grow and develop their ideas and businesses. Many more face barriers to getting jobs, such as childcare, health conditions, disabilities, or language, or cannot get the type of work they aspire to.
At this conference, being held at The Lighthouse in Poole on Friday, 27 February 2015 from 10:00 to 16:00 we want your help to:
identify and consider the main challenges to accessing business advice and support
share and discuss the barriers to getting the type of work you aspire to
come up with solutions that can inform successful funding bids by local providers
