Dorset Race Equality Council was awarded a Comic Relief grant for this project by Dorset Community Foundation. The aim of the project was to ensure that we successfully capture the views of Muslims with limited or no English, as part of our broader consultation work to monitor community cohesion between residents of different faiths and ethnic origins living in Bournemouth, Dorset and Poole. This information is now being used to develop targeted projects aimed building upon positive experiences, developing support for victims of discrimination and addressing community tensions. You can read the report here or on our FB page.
At present, health and social care organisations in Dorset hold different sets of records about you. Information in different records may be duplicated or incomplete. The Dorset Care Record is a new confidential computer record that will join up all these different records to create one complete and up-to-date record about you. Over time this will help improve the care you receive.
