AN IMPORTANT MEESAGE FROM THE DORSET CLINICAL COMMISSIONING GROUP:
At Dorset NHS, we think it is important that as many people as possible understand why the NHS in Dorset needs to change.
We know that we can’t do this alone and so we are asking you to help us share our message as far as possible. To help everyone to easily understand the reasons why, we have created a short film (only 3 ½ minutes) to explain:
- Why the NHS needs to change
- What we are doing about it
- How everyone can get involved.
It would be really great if you could and then share this link: http://www.dorsetsvision.nhs.uk/the-need-for-change-film/ as widely as possible across Dorset to colleagues, patients, friends and family.
A very big ‘Well Done’ and many congratulations to Nathalie Sherring, our Community Development Officer on completing the Bournemouth Half Marathon on Sunday.
Nathalie completed the course in 2 hours and 39 minutes and has raised so far £171 for the Nourish the Children social enterprise. This means through these donations she is able to help feed 13 malnourished children in the developing world, for more than a month.
The Dorset REC team is really proud of Nathalie’s great accomplishment!
Please note that due to low registered numbers and various events happening this week-end, we have decided to cancel the Diabetes Awareness Session that we had planned for this Saturday in Boscombe. We have decided to come to as many community groups as possible to deliver the training instead. So if you run a community group and would like us to come and deliver a brief session, please get in touch. Otherwise, we will be contacting you very soon!
